Directions from Airport
A train runs every 20 minutes approximately from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The platform for the trains is located centrally, one-level down in the airport. Purchase a single or a return ticket (no price saving for a return) from either one of the many ticket machines (which take most bank/credit cards) before you descend one-level to train platforms or at the maned counters nearby. Purchase a ticket to Central Station, the cost of which is probably around €3.80 (2nd class), and €6.50 (1st class). The train journey should take around 20-25 minutes.
On arrival at Central Station, walk outside where there is immediately a taxi rank. Take a taxi. The minimum charge taxi charge is around €7.50 but this should be enough to cover you all the way to the venue. The journey usually takes 10 minutes. The distance is 3.6km (2.23m). All taxi drivers will know the venue area as “Westergasfabriek”. The full address is Klönneplein 2, 1014 DD Amsterdam. Once at “Westergasfabriek”, look for the Transformatorhuis building as depicted in map above.
Alternatively, take a taxi from the airport direct to the venue. Cost should be €35-40 and time should be 30-35 minutes depending on traffic. The distance is 23.7km (14.72m). Complete driving directions here.
